These magnetic dovetail guides have a 3/4" magnet on ea side to help you guide your cut.
We have both a 90 degree guide and 1:6 (10 degree) guide.
The guide sits 2 1/2" above your work piece, so it will allow you to start your cut, once you reach the depth of your saw blade, remove the guide and follow the cut.  It measures 2 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" wide.
